What is a consultant?
"A consultant is someone who provides value through specialized expertise, content, behavior, skill or other resources to assist a client in improving the status quo in return for mutually agreed-upon compensation."
Our consultants consist of a group of successful entrepreneurs, investment bankers, and business advisors with over 25 years experience.
Douglas Fathers, Principal
Mr. Fathers is an entrepreneur with over 25 years of international business, investment banking and consulting experience. His experience spans over various industries in positions from company owner to senior management.
Positions include managing partner of i4 Advisors Group, a business consulting firm; head of project development at Clarington Investments Ltd., a U.K. company specializing in structured finance for project financing; president & CEO of Optic Eyewear Corp., a high-tech lens manufacturing company; president and branch manager of Tempus Financial Group Inc, a First Union Securities boutique investment banking firm; vice president and quantum portfolio manager with Prudential Securities. He was also an international business advisor with McKenzie International Ltd. and worked with companies and governments worldwide on various projects, including spending three years working exclusively for a senior member of the Saudi Royal Family. Mr. Fathers has held several securities licenses including Series 7, 24, 65, and 63.
Parker Knight Jr, Principal
Mr. Knight is an accomplished international senior banker with over 30 years of expertise in structuring and negotiating complex global transactions. As a senior advisor he has assisted in structuring and managing various project financing.
Past positions include managing director and head of international syndicated and global project finance at Banc of America Securities where he managed a global staff that structured and executed billion dollar financing projects; managing director and global head of the UBS Loan Syndicate, and head of structured debt financing where he was responsible for establishing loan syndication activity at UBS in the Americas. Mr. Knight has held several securities licenses including Series 7, 20 and 63.
A. John Kalil, PhD, Corporate Development
Dr. Kalil has over 34 years of expertise centered on facilitating communication and team-building with groups and individuals. His coaching goals approach situations in a non-threatening manner that allow clients to hear information and effectively resolve their own conflicts. Dr. Kalil has incorporated a systems analytic approach to interact with corporations, courts, and schools.
From his practical and educational experience in these environs, he has become aware of the importance of understanding, tolerance and diversity. This has lead to openness of new ideas and creative thinking among his clients. Dr. Kalil's training has incorporated a variety of areas over the years, including conflict resolution, arbitration, mediation, assessments and corporate consulting. Over the years, the principles and practices he has learned from these experiences has enabled him to refine an integral approach to solving problems that arise in all corporate cultures.
